Stoney Nakoda Professional Development Days

Rising Voices/Hótȟaŋiŋpi tells the story of a powerful threat to Native culture. This threat is an insidious, impersonal villain, one that comes through TV sets and social media sites - the English language. The victim is seemingly the Lakota language itself. All sales support development of new language learning materials.

In partnership with the Oneida Indian Nation, TLC has developed the Oneida Media Player app. This revolutionary new app utilizes your smartphone camera to identify text and images in textbooks. It then converts them into audio that makes learning Oneida fun and easy. You can also listen and learn to the media without the book in hand!
